Coming Midsummer 2025, BloomingTails will be relocated to the Kaua’i Humane Society!

A Glance at the next 4 months:

March 26th, 2025: Last day we will be accepting donations. Please carefully review our restrictions list before scheduling an appointment.

May 19th-30th, 2025: We will be having a storewide HALF OFF sale! Details be announced via our social media.

May 30th, 2025: The last day we will be open at our Puhi Industrial Park location.

MID SUMMER 2025: We’re hoping to not be closed for too long and reopen at the Kaua’i Humane Society. We will update you all on our social media once we have a solidified date.

CURRENT RESTRICTIONS

BloomingTails will only take donations by appointment only on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Please check in with the employee at the register before placing items in donation bins. All donations will be inspected before receiving a donation slip. Any items that are stained, torn, moldy, insect-eaten, dirty, or damaged will not be accepted. Thank you for your patience and we hope to expand our donation drop offs in the near future. Mahalo.

  • No more than three 13 gallon kitchen trash bags or three medium size boxes of items per donation appointment.

  • We are not accepting donations in XL boxes or XL 55 gallon trash bags.

  • No keiki items (toys, bibs, socks, baby accessories).

  • Bedding (pillows, bedding, sheets).

  • Socks, undergarments.

  • Litter boxes or pet toys

  • Picture frames

  • Crutches

  • No Large furniture. Small size tables only at this time

  • Mattresses, air mattresses, bedframes.

  • Electronics or appliances (anything that plugs in, aside from lamps).
